About us
Founded in 1979, KURRE Systems is internationally recognised for its expertise and innovative strength in the cable and wire industry and in special machine construction. The company's highly specialised portfolio includes machines for a wide range of products, including customer-specific adaptations and the development of complete systems and individual components.
Made in Germany
KURRE Systems offers a comprehensive range of services, from research and development, in-house design and user-friendly control software to after-sales service. The portfolio is complemented by the modern in-house production of the customised manufacturing company KUTEC - KURRE Technologies. The metal production enables a fast and flexible response to customer requests and ultimately leads to a more than 90% in-house production depth. While a large proportion of the systems are designed and assembled at the headquarters in Ramsloh, Saterland, the second site in Neustadt / Wied is home to SIEBE Engineering GmbH, a true professional expert in extrusion.
Unwinding, winding and everything in between
The broad portfolio of KURRE Systems offers the entire range of systems and machines for the production of a wide variety of wire and cable products. KURRE Systems is highly specialised in individual customisation. Below is a general overview:
Overall systems:
Cutting and trimming lines | taping lines | extrusion lines | oven lines | ring winding lines | drum winding lines | rewinding stands
Single machines:
Cut-to-length machines | pay-offs | unwinders | take-ups | rewinders | taping machines | extruders | braiding machines | film winders | cooling technology | measuring technology | accumulators | dancers | drying machines
Cross-sector
KURRE Systems machines can be found in many different industries thanks to their customised production: KURRE Systems has been consistently successful in the automotive industry, the medical sector, aerospace and data communication sectors and it has maintained long-standing customer relationships.
The KURRE Group
The KURRE Group consists of KURRE Systems, which is a merger of KURRE Spezialmaschinenbau GmbH, SIEBE Engineering GmbH, KUTEC - KURRE Technologies GmbH and the IT service provider Net & Web GmbH. The KURRE Group therefore stands for versatility, success and continuous growth. Thanks to a team of over 240 highly qualified employees, all of whom are specialists in their field, outstanding quality is guaranteed in all areas. In recent years, there has been a continuous increase in both the number of employees and the production area, which emphasises the innovative orientation of the company.

Products & Services
KURRE Systems expertise is in the area of individual high-end-extrusion lines, customized machine engineering and automation technology in cable-processing. The Portfolio is abbout extrusion lines, rewinding and drum winding systems als well as taping and oven systems and ring winding machines.
They also offer all products as variants, which are individually customized to specific requirements.
As single components they offer:
accumulators
braked payoffs
capstans
cooling technology
cutting to length systems
dancers
drying
extruders
foil payoffs
measurement technology
payoffs
take-ups
taping systems
Extrusion lines
Our extrusion lines are primarily used for cable production. A physical process is used to apply molten material, for example plastic, to various wires and to coat them.
Our extrusion lines are characterized by
High performance in all extruder sizes
Computer calculated screw geometries, which are adapted to the respective polymer
Material-conserving plasticizing
Highest temperature and pressure stability
Very good sliding properties
Minimum wear
Furthermore, tubes, solid plastic rods, medical technology products or highly complex sheathed cables can be produced in this way.
Our systems are increasingly used in the following areas:
Automotive cables
Data communication cables
Fluorine / high temperature cables
Coaxial cables
Fiber optic cables
Low voltage / building cables
Profiles / Hoses
Fully automatic double take-up for braiding spools
The fully automatic double spooling machine for shed wire is revolutionizing wire processing. With the ability to wind up to eight individual wires per spool with a diameter of min. 0.05 mm at an impressive winding speed of up to 600 m/min, it sets standards in efficiency and precision. Its fully automatic functions minimize the need for human intervention, while state-of-the-art technology ensures consistently high quality. With tension control per individual wire, this machine offers the ideal solution for demanding wire applications as for example braiding processes with sensitive wires.
Taping system for tension-sensitive winding materials
The high-speed taping machine works reliably at speeds of up to 1.500 rpm and minimum tensile forces down to 1 N. It actively regulates the tensile force of the material, records fluctuations graphically and even processes unsintered PTFE at maximum speed. The user can monitor the process via a monitor and data logger and react quickly, ensuring that products are optimally taped.
Fully automatic double take-up with subsequent palletizing
Our fully automatic double take-up with overlap function. The special feature: The winder is suitable for use as a take-up unit directly in an extrusion line.
This fully automatic machine not only winds ready-to-sell spools, but also labels, wraps and palletizes them independently at a line speed of up to 500 m per minute. Due to the tight cycle times of the processes an output of up to one spool (500 m) per minute can be generated. In addition to the function of the winder, special attention was given to minimize the installation space. The compact design requires only 34 m² of floor space.
KURRE Control and Database System
The „KURRE Control & Database System“, is a modern plant control system that embodies our approach to Industry 4.0.
It provides an enhanced interface for efficient control of production facilities through a powerful industrial PC. The improved human-machine interface enables more efficient operation of the plants. Our intuitive software with graphical user interface and logical menu navigation facilitates operation and reduces training times.
Additionally, the system offers comprehensive data management and analysis capabilities, as well as networking capabilities with other ERP or MES systems for seamless integration and process optimization. The modular structure allows easy customization to individual customer requirements and offers additional modules such as analysis tools to further enhance functionality. A highlight is the setup module, which supports error-free setup processes.
The „Kurre Control & Database System“ is the standard equipment for modern production environments and demonstrates our commitment to innovative solutions in plant control for the different machines and lines.
